San Marcos’ Jordan Lind scored at the buzzer in overtime to give the Royals a 16-15 win over Camarillo in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs Tuesday.

Emmett Haggerty was the leading scorer for San Marcos, with six goals. Nic Prentice added two.

The Royals were down by four early in the third period before mounting a comeback.

San Marcos, the fourth-ranked team in Division 2, hosts Rancho Cucamonga in a second round game on Thursday at Dos Pueblos at 3:30 p.m. It will be part of a playoff doubleheader. Dos Pueblos will face Brea Olinda in a D2 second-round game at 5 p.m.

San Marcos improves Royals to 17-9 overall. Rancho Cucamonga is 21-4.
