Light rain is possible overnight Monday into Tuesday for most areas of Santa Barbara County, according to the National Weather Service.
A weather system predicted to dump heavy rain in Northern California is expected to just graze the Central Coast region.
Forecasters were calling for a 30-50% chance of rain locally, mainly between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Most areas of Santa Barbara County should see a tenth of an inch of rain or less, with North County communities likely to record the largest amounts.
Daytime high temperatures should be in the 60s, with overnight lows in the lower-50s.
Sunny skies are expected to return on Wednesday, with highs rising to around 80 degrees by the end of the week.
