Major social issues can’t be solved by one organization alone. SB ACT serves as a “hub” organization for cross-sector coalitions to address large social issues such as homelessness, human trafficking, and healthcare access. SB ACT’s largest initiative is the ACT On Homelessness Collaborative, a coalition spanning from Goleta to Carpinteria with of government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and people experiencing homelessness working together to reduce the impacts of homelessness region-wide.
