The city of Lompoc invites all Lompoc Valley high school students to submit artwork that could provide inspiration for the city’s upcoming 135th birthday celebration logo.
The theme of the 135th birthday celebration in 2023 will be Honoring our Legacy – Launching into our Future. Students in grades 9 through 12 can submit artwork that captures that theme.
All entries will be judged on the artwork’s creativity that reflects the city’s uniqueness, and captures the essence of Lompoc. Designs must highlight Lompoc’s 135th birthday. The winning design will be used as the basis for designing the city’s birthday logo.

In a separate city-run art contest, local students in kindergarten through 12th grade are also invited throughout October to submit art that could be included in the city’s 2023 conservation wall calendar.
