Lompoc City Council meetings will be temporarily closed to in-person attendance due to COVID-19 mandates from the state and county. However, remote public participation is encouraged.
The upcoming Tuesday, Dec. 15 regular council meeting, scheduled to begin in public session at 6:30 p.m., will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 23 and the radio at KPEG 100.9 FM.
Public comment will be accepted during oral communications or on a specific agenda item, by calling 805-875-8201 before the close of public comment on the agenda item. Each speaker will have three minutes to give public comment.
As another option, public comment may be submitted via email to s_haddon@ci.lompoc.ca.us no later than 4 p.m. the day of the council meeting.
In addition, the city’s committee, commission and boarding meetings, with the exception of planning commission meetings, have been canceled until further notice in keeping with state and county mandates related to COVID-19 safety precautions.
The planning commission will follow a similar course as Lompoc City Council meetings, and continue to hold meetings that will be held via Zoom and broadcast live on Comcast Channel 23 and on the radio at KPEG 100.9 FM. .
