Remote participation is encouraged at Tuesday night’s Lompoc City Council meeting as in-person public attendance at City Council meetings is no longer permitted, per the governor and Santa Barbara County’s new health officer order.

Santa Barbara County has determined that in-person attendance at city council meetings violates Santa Barbara County Public Health Officer Order 2020-12.5, which went into effect July 14. The order is available at:…/Disease…/Corona/HOO%202020-12-5.pdf.

Tuesday’s Lompoc Council meeting, scheduled to begin in public session at 6:30 p.m., will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 23 and the radio at KPEG 100.9 FM, and livestreamed on the internet at Click the City Council button, then View City Council Meeting Live Webcast.

Public comment will be accepted during oral communications or on a specific agenda item by calling 805-875-8201 before the close of public comment on the agenda item. Each speaker will have three minutes to give public comment. As another option, public comment may be submitted via email to not later than 4 p.m. the day of the council meeting.
