Santa Barbara Associates, the local organization of women in leadership positions founded in 1981, invited Santa Barbara Mayor Randy Rowse to speak at its Sept. 15 luncheon meeting at the University Club in Santa Barbara.

Rowse discussed current issues in the city of Santa Barbara, such as water use, the matter of homelessness, and the downtown State Street Promenade. During a Q&A following his talk, Rowse took the time to answer each individual’s question.

The mission of Santa Barbara Associates is to give women in leadership positions the opportunity to make connections, share expertise, inspire confidence, and encourage growth.
