One person had to be extricated from a crumpled vehicle that veered off Harris Grade Road on Friday evening.
About 6:15 p.m., personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the California Highway Patrol and American Medical Response were dispatched to Harris Grade Road, near Highway 135 south of Orcutt, Fire Department spokesman Mike Eliason said.
A vehicle ended up on its wheels 20 feet off the roadway and in an irrigation ditch.
One person, a 20-year-old woman, had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported by AMR ground ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening but major injuries, Eliason said.
CHP officers from the Santa Maria area office will investigate the circumstances surrounding of the crash.
