DESCRIPTION:RECORDER PLAYERS – Please join us for our last Central Coast Recorder Society (CCRS) meeting of the season on Saturday\, June 7th at Goleta Presbyterian Church\, 1-4 pm. Our program will be Bring Your Own Band\, where everyone is invited to perform! \n\n\nThis is a chance to play a solo or ensemble piece in a very informal and friendly atmosphere. After the performances\, we will all play together and then celebrate!  Other instruments and vocals are welcome in addition to recorders.\n\n\nFREE COACHING SESSION!  Come early for a free coaching session beginning at 12:00 noon before our regular monthly meeting. Bring your own recorder and music stand. Music will be provided to you by email prior to the coaching session. This is your chance to go over the music\, ask questions\, and get comfortable playing with the larger group.  The session will be led by Chet Stussy\, a Ph.D. candidate in musicology at UC Santa Barbara\, where he also teaches undergraduate music history courses. Chet conducted the Santa Barbara City College Trombone Choir from 2018 to 2022\, and has worked as a Teaching Artist for the Santa Barbara Symphony’s education department.\n\n\nCoaching session attendees are invited to attend our monthly meetings.
