SUMMARY:Korean Tea Ceremony (茶禮)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 90-minute journey through Korean Tea Ceremony (다례\, 茶禮)\, breath and sound—an experience rooted in ancestral reverence and inner restoration. In Korean tradition\, 다례 (茶禮) means “tea honoring ritual” and reflects the deep values of presence\, harmony\, and respectful connection. It is not simply drinking tea\, but an intentional act of honoring life\, lineage\, and the moment. Combined with conscious breathwork\, this ceremony becomes a bridge—between past and present\, body and spirit\, memory and release.\n\n\nAs we share tea in silence and move into guided breath\, we gently invite the stories of our ancestors (祖上) to surface—those we remember\, and those held quietly in our bones. With each sip and breath\, we soften\, release\, and return to ourselves (我). This session is an offering: to those who came before\, and to the healing you carry forward.\n\n\nFacilitators\nYuna Lee\n\n\nYuna Lee is a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator\, sound healer\, and Korean tea ceremony practitioner based in the high desert of Joshua Tree\, California. With a doctorate in English and a research focus on childhood and trauma\, she brings both academic depth and intuitive sensitivity to her healing work.\n\n \n\n\nShe has also studied both Western and Eastern philosophy\, which informs her ability to hold space where intellect\, spirit\, and embodied experience meet. Trained in 디례 (Korean tea ceremony or honoring ritual) by Tea Master Yi Il Hee and in breathwork by David Elliott\, Yuna weaves cultural reverence with somatic practice to guide others into deeper presence and ancestral connection.\n\n\nRooted in Korean traditions and embodied wisdom\, her offerings invite participants to slow down\, soften\, and reconnect—with their breath\, their bodies\, and the unseen lineage that lives within them. Whether guiding sessions in her desert glass dome\, at curated retreats\, or in intimate tea circles\, Yuna creates sacred space where silence becomes medicine and breath becomes a bridge.\n\n\nHer work is grounded in wholeheartedness\, reverence\, and authenticity. Through conscious breath\, sound\, and tea\, she gently invites people to listen deeply\, release what no longer serves\, and remember who they truly are.\n\n\nFlowing River
\n\n\nFlowing River is a poet\, musician\, and spiritualist that studies under the tutelage of Bhai Bahadur Singh Ji and the Sangat of the Divine Light. Having traveled to over 30 countries over the past 15 years he has amassed a wealth of knowledge on how to cleanse\, clear\, and purify the mind\, body\, and spirit. Flowing River shares this wisdom freely with all who are ready to make a positive change in their lives for the better.
