DESCRIPTION:Women’s Literary Voices and Sullivan Goss Art Gallery\nproudly present\na salon with local artist Patricia Chidlaw\n\n\nOn Thursday\, April 24\, 2025\, please join us for “Patricia Chidlaw: Standing Still in Front of The Light.”  During this\, our Spring salon and happy hour (5:30- 7:30pm)\,\nMs Childlaw will discuss her attraction to artificial light sources. Including neon\, store windows\, and streetlights. Light that often creates a dramatic\, provocative stage.\n\n\nThe event will be at the Sullivan Goss Art Gallery.  11 East Anapamu Street. \n\n\nPatricia’s earliest exposure to art was in Europe at the age of 13 when her father was stationed in France. She and her mother visited cathedrals and museums as well\nas flea markets and shops. Those experiences educated her eye for art and her\nsensibility to things that are time-warm and reflect a sense of the past.
