Lompoc football player Oscar Tenorio and Kylie Clouse of the Santa Ynez girls volleyball team were honored as the Northern Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table Athletes of Week on Monday.
Tenorio rushed for 86 yards and one touchdowbn and intercepted two passes, returning one for the clinching touchdown in Lompoc’s 24-7 victory over Simi Valley last Friday night. He also made five tackles in the season-opening game for the CIF-SS Division 5 fourth-ranked Braves.
Clouse totaled 27 kills, seven aces and seven blocks in leading Santa Ynez to three victories last week.
