Painted Porch Advisors, a financial planning and wealth management firm has announced its initial support for Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara. Girls Inc. will be the inaugural recipient of giving from The Porch’s Help First charitable commitment.
The gift will fund some 200 hours of The Girls Inc. Experience for girls in the greater Santa Barbara community. It also supports Girls Inc’s virtual spring event StrongHER Together: Finding Strength Through Sport on April 16.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara,” said Brian Lloyd, Painted Porch CEO. “I’ve been involved with them for many years as a former board member, and have always admired the great work they do inspiring and empowering girls all over the greater Santa Barbara area.
“It is humbling to be able to leverage the work we love into meaningful support for this incredible organization.”
The philosophy that makes this partnership happen, Help First, is unique in the wealth management and financial planning industry. The Painted Porch team will spend time with anyone, regardless of asset level, to help them build a holistic and personalized financial plan. The work can last up to six months, and is free.
The commitment is that The Porch will perform high-quality, comprehensive work that empowers people financially, with zero obligation to become a client when finished. Every financial plan created by Painted Porch also delivers $100 to their charitable partner, Girls Inc.
