Police are looking for the public’s help finding a Santa Barbara nurse who has been missing since late last week.
The Santa Barbara Police Department said Tuesday that Ashley Lynn Zachman was last seen working at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital at 5 p.m. on Friday.
“Zachman’s family members and coworkers have not seen or heard from her since she left work on Friday,” said Anthony Wagner, a police spokesman.
Zachman’s parents alerted police that their daughter was missing after she failed to show up for work on Monday evening.
“The parents stated this is out-of-character for Zachman, and she has never shown a pattern of running away or disappearing,” Wagner said.
The 36-year-old Zachman was described as 5-foot-5, 115 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. She drives a 2008 white Mazda 3 with license plate 6DRL358.
Her vehicle and purse reportedly are missing, while her phone was found at her residence, Wagner said.
Anyone with information about Zachman’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Police Department at 805.897.2465.
