“We are counting down with anticipation to our 2022 polo season, and looking forward to welcoming the public back to enjoy the entire season with us this year,” said John Muse, Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club Board president.
“We have a record number of teams participating at every level, with many of the world’s most talented players coming to play with us. We welcome the entire community back for another spectacular summer season,” Muse said.
The season opens with the 12 Goal Series (May and June), followed by the pinnacle 18 Goal or High Goal Series (July and August), and closing out the season is the 8 Goal Series (September and October).
The Polo & Racquet Club also will offer polo lessons and clinics at its Polo Academy, and will host a variety of social events and happenings throughout the season, including the return of Friday Happy Hour.
“We’re looking forward to another incredible season of Polo in Paradise,” said David Sigman, general manager of the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.
“We can’t wait to see our stadium full of fans once again enjoying our signature Sunday Polo, but those in the know will agree that many of the most thrilling matches happen on Friday afternoons, so we hope to see you there for Happy Hour,” Sigman said.
“With something for everyone, from families and kids, to the social scene, to the players and teams that come here to compete among some of the world’s best – the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is one of the finest venues you’ll find in the country to enjoy the sport of polo, and so much more,” he said.
