Providence High girls tennis played host to Thacher and fell by a score of 13-5 on Tuesday.
“Providence was missing some key players and had to rely on the help of a couple of subs to fill out the squad,” Patriots athletic director Dan Terry said. “But the girls showed a lot of class despite their circumstances.”
Sarah Monroy and the sister pairing of Melia and Annika Haugen performed well for the Patriots, picking up wins.
“Sarah brought decisive victories for us and three cheers for the Haugen sister duo who showed incredible net play,” Providence head coach LeAnne Patterson said.
Providence will take on Bishop Diego on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
