Three Providence players scored in double figures but it wasn’t enough as the Patriots lost to Grace Brethren, 77-53, in a Frontier League boys basketball game on Wednesday.
Zak Lopez led Providence with 17 points, Jordan Short scored 14 and grabbed eight rebounds and Sam Krautmann had 13 points, going 3 for 4 on three-pointers.
“Our young team plays well in moments and are working to play well consistently for 32 minutes every night,” said coach Steve Stokes.
The Patriots (0-6 in league) play Laguna Blanca on Monday at 5 p.m.
