Four Providence volleyball players combined for 17 service aces in a 25-23, 25-12, 25-19 win over Garden Street Academy at Girls Inc. on Wednesday night.
Olivia Bates led the serving with five aces, while Liza Coffin, Kaitlyn Tang and Bella Madrigal each served four.
Madrigal paced the offense with nine kills.
“Bella was powerful at the net tonight,” said coach Caitlin Racich. She also praised the play of Avala Elwood.
“Overall, I’m proud of our team for bouncing back after a challenging non-league match last night (at Carpinteria). We feel good going into the Coast Union Tournament this weekend,” said Racich.
