Local fitness studio RiseUp Fitness is hosting a Diaper Drive in November to raise supplies and money for Angels Foster Care, a local nonprofit foster agency that specializes in placing infants and toddlers in loving foster homes through Santa Barbara and southern San Luis Obispo counties.

Angels Foster Care goes through a lot of diapers — and members of RiseUp are stepping up to meet that need.

Community members can assist in the diaper drive in the following ways:

1. Bring diapers to the RiseUp Fitness studios. RiseUp will deliver them to Angels Foster Care.

2. Have diapers delivered to RiseUp Fitness: 2273 Las Positas Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

3. Send diapers directly to Angels Foster Care: Angels Foster Care, 3905 State St. #7-115, Santa Barbara, CA, 93105

4. Donate to Angels Foster Care here, or bring cash/check to RiseUp Fitness and RiseUp will deliver it.

5. Purchase supplies for Angels Foster Care through its Amazon List — Angels Foster Care Baby Supplies, https://smile.amazon.com/hz/charitylist/ls/234V6VY94V1N3/ref=smi_ext_lnk_lcl_cl.

Though RiseUp Fitness focuses primarily on health and fitness, owners Kyle Visin, Emily Foley and Addie Clarke work to assist the community beyond the studio. RiseUp Fitness has led drives and fundraisers for Angels Foster Care twice previously, and members donated hundreds of diapers, dollars, and other baby and infant supplies from the Angels Foster Care wish list.

Since opening in 2018, RiseUp has raised some $15,000 for various local and national charities, often those suggested by members.
