There will be a memorial scattering of ashes at sea on Aug. 20 for Robert D.O. Perry of Goleta. The boat leaves Santa Barbara Harbor at 11 a.m.

A reception will follow at 7051 Del Norte Drive, Goleta, with afternoon/evening celebration at Jalama campground.
