Ronald Charles Berwald passed away Aug. 31, 2023 in his home in Camarillo, California, with his devoted loving wife Vicki and terrier companion Junior at his side.

Ron was a loyal, loving, giving, happy-go-lucky dad, grandfather, husband and friend.

He enjoyed the simple things in life — barbecuing, fishing, keeping his cars clean.

Ron had a chuckle to his voice that made you feel everything was OK. His carefree presence washed away all your worries. He was truly one of a kind, we will deeply miss him.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 17, which would have been Ron’s 75th birthday, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 199 N. Hope Ave., Santa Barabara. A celebration of life will follow the service.
