San Marcos will retire Alex Mack’s San Marcos Royals football jersey number 65 during halftime of the San Marcos-Dos Pueblos football game to honor his achievements during his high school, college, and professional football career.
This event will occur during halftime on Friday, October 13, 2023. Kickoff is 7:00 p.m. Public tickets can be purchased on GoFan.
Media can show their credentials to enter the stadium at the main entrance and for field access.
Former Coaches and teammates of Alex Mack are welcome to come to the track at halftime for the ceremony.
“We are so proud of Alex and look forward to celebrating his legacy on Friday Night,” San Marcos Principal Dare Holdren said. “Not only was he one of the best athletes ever to come through San Marcos, but he was an excellent student and even better person. We congratulate him on this unprecedented honor.”
