Bonita sank six three-pointers in the first half to build a 38-24 lead. The Bearcats knocked down eight threes for the game, while San Marcos made four.

“We played a well coached team that played well,” said San Marcos coach Jelani Hicks.

Isaiah Hicks led the Royals with 13 points and Gideon Van Bogelen added 10.
