The Santa Barbara Beer Festival, or Pints for the Park, is turning 12 on Saturday, Oct. 12. The festival will be 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Elings Park. All proceeds raised will benefit the Santa Barbara Rugby Association and the Elings Park Foundation.

This year, the Santa Barbara Beer Festival, which is the original craft beer festival in Santa Barbara, will have more breweries, wineries and kombucha than in years past.

Also being introduced is a VIP early entry offering; 500 VIP guests will be able to get into the festival an hour early at 11:30 a.m. and sample craft beers not available during the general admission session, which opens at 12:30 p.m.

Some 45 craft breweries, wineries and kombucha will be onsite along with four food trucks. Live entertainment will be presented by After the Smoke, DJ Hecktik and Wall of Tom.

General admission includes a souvenir glass and samples from any of the craft breweries, wineries and kombucha.

Tickets are available at Tickets at the door will go up to $70 for VIP, $55 for general admission.

Transportation options include bus pick-ups in Goleta (M Special Brewing Co., 10:30 a.m.) and Santa Barbara (Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co., 11 a.m.). Cost is $10 for round trip. Bus tickets must be pre-purchased as they are expected sell out. There will also be a free bicycle valet provided by BiciCentro. Bicyclists are urged to enter Elings Park via Wesst Valerio Street.
