The Santa Barbara Foundation has launched the COVID-19 Ways to Heli webpage to connect community members looking to help, with organizations in need of food, supplies, volunteers, and additional funding.

“It will take a village, and then some,” said Jackie Carrera, Interim CEO of the Santa Barbara Foundation. “COVID-19 is providing unique challenges, and we are pleased to provide this new way to connect individuals with resources to organizations who need them.

“We hope that community members and organizations will use this Ways to Help forum to provide support where it is needed most.”

On the new platform, organizations can submit forms to request food and supply donations, volunteer opportunities, and financial donations needed to continue their work. Community members looking to provide help can sort, filter and browse listings, and sign up directly with the organization to provide the help requested.
