On Friday, March 13, the Santa Barbara Foundation (SBF) and the United Way of Santa Barbara County (UWSBC) announced a joint partnership that will provide financial support to address the needs of individuals and families in Santa Barbara County as well as the nonprofits who serve them.

This COVID-19 joint response effort allows both SBF and UWSBC to coordinate funds and rapidly meet the needs of our community as they arise through collaborative division-making.

The Santa Barbara Foundation is also actively working with local government and nonprofit organizations to monitor the situation and keep our partners informed with the most current health and safety information.

To support the efforts of our nonprofit community, the Santa Barbara Foundation is convening local organizations by topic areas that have been identified by our grantees and other social sector partners. Beginning this week, SBF will host two webinars:
