Ben Sherman pounded 12 kills in the middle, and Santa Barbara High’s volleyball team improved to 5-0 in the Channel League with a 25-10, 25-14, 25-8 sweep over Cabrillo on Thursday.
Caden Westwick and Peter Tebbe ran an efficient Dons’ offense.
Shaymus O’Hearn and Sam Meister each had eight kills, Andrew Douglas had six and Jack Gay contributed five kills in his varsity debut.
“We took care of business and I was able to rest a few of my players,” said Santa Barbara coach Chad Arneson.
Santa Barbara, ranked ninth in CIF Division 1, is 12-5 overall going into spring break.
