The Santa Barbara Soccer Club’s U11 Boys won the Cal-South State Cup title. The Santa Barbara Soccer Club Boys’ 2011-White U11 team won the Cal-South State Cup championship for its age group, beating the Ventura Eagles, 3-1, last Sunday in San Bernardino.

Ventura was leading 1-0 in the second half before Santa Barbara erupted for three goals to take the title. Cannon Miller, Damian Fernandez and Evan Uriarte scored for Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbaa defeated the LA Monsters/Wilmingon Juniors, 3-0, in the semifinals. The club also knocked off Juventus Academy of LA, 2-1, and Simi Valley Eclipse, 12-0.

Santa Barbara is coached by former UCSB soccer player Jeff Johnson.
