The Santa Barbara High boys and girls tennis teams both beat Cabrillo by the score of 17-1 on Wednesday.
Jonah Tharakan went 2-0 at No. 1 singles for the Dons.
Senior Luca Corey and sophomore Benji Tharakan swept at No. 3 doubles.
For the girls, junior singles player KK Casey swept her three sets.
Coach Danny Echt like how the doubles players adapted to playing different formations.
“It feels like we are beginning to get our feet underneath us with strong doubles patterns,” he said. “The girls are connecting well and beginning to find more consistency in spin second serves. Katie Clyne and Ashley Walsten swept their sets by intelligently mixing up patient back court with aggressive net play.”
