
Santa Barbara High senior goalie Faith Tedesco was named the MVP for Channel League girls water polo.
Tedesco’s goalkeeping led the Dons to a runner-up finish in league tournament behind champion San Marcos.
Tedesco has signed to continue her water polo career and education at UC Irvine.
The entire all-league first team signed with Division 1 college programs.
San Marcos led the first-team selections with four players. They are: Cassidy Miller (UCLA), Claire Kronen (UCLA), Megan Musick (Cal), Ella Prentice (Harvard) and Hannah Meyer (USC).
Rounding out the first team are Santa Barbara High’s Abigail Hendrix (USC bound) and UC Davis signees goalie Anna Cable of Dos Pueblos and Mary Rhodes of Cabrillo.
