Santa Barbara High’s Juan Carlos Torres and Connor Lambe were named to the All-CIF-SS Division 1 boys soccer team, while Brima Kamara of CIF-champion Dunn was honored as the Division 6 Player of the Year.

Torres, a repeat member on the Division 1 squad, led Santa Barbara in goal scoring. Lambe stopped opponents from scoring as the Dons’ outstanding senior goalkeeper. Their play led Santa Barbara to a Channel League title and the Division 1 quarterfinals.

Kamara was joined on the Division 6 first team by Dunn senior teammates Alpha Sowe, Abdul Kadir and Rene Pacheco. They led the Earwigs to a 20-0 season.

Dunn’s Dylan Murphy was named Coach of the Year in Division 6.

Dos Pueblos senior defender Hayden Carlson was named to the All-CIF Division 2 team. He has signed to continue his career and education UC Davis.

GIRLS SOCCER

Lompoc senior forward Ayziah Simmons was named to the All-CIF Division 4 team. She is the only area player to receive All-CIF honors after leading the Braves to a share of the Channel League title with Dos Pueblos and the second round of the playoffs.
