The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce will be distributing PPE (masks, sanitizer and face shields), noon-3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 12-13 at Direct Relief International (DRI) at 6100 Wallace Becknell Road, Santa Barbara.
The PPE is intended for Goleta, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria businesses. The chamber is working in collaboration with DRI and Downtown Santa Barbara to distribute PPE to the local business community.
Businesses are urged to pick up their 30-day supply of free PPE at the drive-thru distribution. Supplies are limited and the distribution will end when everything runs out.
Business representaives picking up PPE should wear a mask and be prepared to share how many employees the business has, the name of the business, phone, email and address. A table with a staff person will be set up outside DRI.
The distribution can provide up to a 30-day supply of PPE for businesses for up to 20 employees.
The 30-day supply of PPE is made available to California small businesses through the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services in collaboration with the Office of the Small Business Advocate, and in partnership with the LA Regional Small Business Development Center Network and the Economic Development Collaborative.
