The Lompoc Parks & Recreation Division invites community members to put on their dancing shoes and register for the Father Daughter Dance, which has returned for 2022.

The Father Daughter Dance will take place over three nights, Friday, Feb. 4, Saturday, Feb. 5 and Sunday, Feb. 6. The dances will be from 6-8:30 p.m., but doors will open at 5 p.m. for photos. Those planning to participate can register for the evening of their choice.

The dance is for young ladies, ages 3-18 years, and the man in their life — whether that’s their dad or another father figure. The occasion allows those male guardians to treat their Valentine to a semiformal night of dancing and activities. A pizza dinner will be provided, and is included in the ticket price. Other novelty items will be sold, and professional portrait packages will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $30 per couple per night, with each additional child in the same family costing $10. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must adhere to the current mask mandate.

For more information or to buy tickets, contact Lompoc Parks & Recreation Division, 805-875-8100, or visit Anderson Recreation Center, 125 W. Walnut Ave., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. Tickets can also be purchased online at https://apm.activecommunities.com/lompocrecreation.

Due to the popularity of this event, pre-registration is required.
