Camryn Snyder allowed only two hits, and UCSB erupted for six runs in the sixth inning to beat Howard, 6-1, in the final game of the Cal Baptist Lancer Invitational in Riverside.
Snyder struck out seven as the Gauchos won their 10th game of the season. The lone run she allowed came in the top of the sixth
Ashley Donaldson drove in two runs in the Gauchos’ big sixth. Madelyn McNally, Hannah Damore, Alexa Sam and Korie Thomas all collected RBIs in the inning.
Damore had two of the team’s seven hits.
The Gauchos (10-7) play next weekend at the Bulldog Classic at Fresno State
