UCSB swept Long Beach State Friday in the Thunderdome to go 5-0 in Big West play.
The 26-14, 25-20, 25-19 win also put the Gauchos over .500 in overall games for the first time this season, at 9-8.
UCSB’s 41 kills were well-distributed, with Tallulah Froley leading with nine.
Macall Peed led in digs with nine, and Rowan Ennis slammed down four blocks. Grace Kloss and Mehana Ma’a had 18 assists apiece.
The Gauchos will go for six straight conference wins Saturday against Cal State Fullerton. The match begins at 6 p.m. in the Thunderdome.
