A vehicle slammed into a Goleta thrift store on Saturday afternoon, injuring two employées inside the building.
At 2:20 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the 5100 block of Hollister Avenue where a vehicle crashed into the United Family Association Thrift Shoppe, county fire spokesman Mike Eliason said.
Two employees were taken to Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Eliason added.
The female driver was not injured in the incident, he said.
At least one large window reportedly was broken in the incident and arrangements were underway to install plywood to secure the shop.
Building inspectors also were requested to respond to the scene to assess the damage to the structure, Eliason added.
