DESCRIPTION:Join us at Beckmen Vineyards for a rare and inti­mate ret­ro­spec­tive tast­ing of our most dis­tin­guished Syrah: PMV Block Six. This guid­ed ver­ti­cal expe­ri­ence will fea­ture five stand­out vin­tages — 2005\, 2016\, 2019\, 2020 and 2022 — show­cas­ing the remark­able aging poten­tial and evolv­ing char­ac­ter of this extra­or­di­nary wine.\n\n\nGrown on the high­est ele­va­tion of Purisi­ma Moun­tain Vine­yard\, Block Six was the first sec­tion to be farmed bio­dy­nam­i­cal­ly\, begin­ning in 2002. Its chalky lime­stone soils\, steep slopes\, and south­west expo­sure yield a wine of pro­found struc­ture and puri­ty. Since its inau­gur­al vin­tage\, Block Six has aver­aged 95 points from top crit­ics\, earn­ing its rep­u­ta­tion as the defin­ing expres­sion of Beck­men Syrah.\n\n\nThe tast­ing will take place in the Beck­men bar­rel room on the Estate Vine­yard prop­er­ty. Your $60 tick­et will be applied as a cred­it toward any wine pur­chase made at the event.
