Vincent Rinaldi equaled his season best in the 100 meters and older brother Victor Rinaldi came from behind on the anchor leg of the 4×400 relay to give Carpinteria a Citrus Coast League track & field dual win at Santa Paula on Wednesday.

Vincent Rinaldi clocked 11.31 to win the 100 meters and captured the 200.

Victor Rinaldi made up a 10-meter deficit on the relay, helping the Warriors win the meet, 66-60. The girls also won 76.5-49,5.

Caesar Rinaldi, Vincent’s twin brother, finished second in the 100 in a PR of 11.53.

Sophomore Mateo Handall set a PR of 52,83 in winning the 400 meters and the Warriors’ 4×100 relay team was victorious in 45.91.

On the girls side, Fatima Cervantes won two events and was part of the winning 4×400 relay. She ran 56.51 in the 300 hurdles and high jumped 4-10. 

Mercey Torres ran a PR of 66.39 to win the 400 and was also on the 4×400 team. Caton Pettine won the 100m hurdles with a time of 18.72.
