Chena Underhill (women’s pole vault) and the Westmont women’s 4×800 meter relay team earned All-American honors on day two of the 2020 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Underhill tied for seventh in the competition with a mark of 3.72 meters. This is the third time Underhill has been an All-American at NAIA Indoors and the fourth time in her Westmont career overall, including outdoor.

The quartet of Charlotte Combrink, Alicia Morales, Callie Guthrie and Casey Jensen crossed the line in a time of 9:57.44 to finish eighth.

Head coach Russell Smelley said the Westmont women’s 4×800 relay earned All-American status for the fifth time in the past six NAIA National Championships, combining both indoor and outdoor nationals.

After not clearing a bar in the men’s heptathlon high jump yesterday, Pieter Top did not finish the final three events of the competition.
