A Wind Advisory was issued Saturday for Santa Barbara County’s South Coast and mountain areas.
The advisory, in effect until 3 p.m., warns of northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts to 45 mph.
Affected areas include Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria, San Marcos Pass, and the San Rafael and Dick Smith wilderness areas, according to the National Weather Service in Oxnard.
Motorists were urged to use extra caution while driving, especially if operating high-profile vehicles.
Mostly clear skies are expected through the coming week, with daytime highs in the low- to mid-60s and overnight lows in the low-40s.
There is no rain in the forecast through Friday.
