The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau is investigating the circumstances of a man found dead in Santa Barbara on Tuesday.
Police said they responded to a report of a found body in an encampment near the railroad tracks along Modoc Road.
Sgt. Bryan Kerr said officers determined there was not anything suspicious about the death, and foul play was not involved.
They referred the case to the Coroner’s Bureau.
Coroner’s spokesperson Raquel Zick said the deceased had not been identified as of Wednesday afternoon.
