Researchers from the Institute for Social, Behavioral and Economic at UC Santa Barbara are looking for Santa Barbara area residents to participate in two small focus-group workshops on new technologies in society and their relationship to ocean futures.

The workshops will be held in the Santa Barbara/Goleta area 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Feb. 23 and Feb. 23. Participants can choose which day is most convenient.

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the project is led by an interdisciplinary team of UCSB social science researchers. No special knowledge is required or expected.
