The San Marcos girls’ golf team fell to Santa Ynez, 234-269, on Wednesday at the par-36 River Course at the Alisal. The medalist of the match was Kristin Henno of Santa Ynez.
San Marcos’ scores were Brianna Wiley 49, Alexandria Peretiako 52, Katie Blum 54, Zaira Barbosa 55 and Cat Lefemine 59, with the Royals’ overall score of 269.
Wiley and Peretiako merit mention for their leadership on the course. Blum stepped up and shot a personal best, and the hard work is starting to pay off for her.
