Brothers Adam and Michael Luckhurst each scored two goals and Bishop Diego celebrated its Senior Day with a 4-1 win over Santa Clara in a Tri-Valley League boys soccer match.
“It was a well deserved victory for our seven seniors who were playing in their last league game,” said coach Mick Luckhurst.
The Cardinals finished 4-3-1 in league play and 7-3-2 overall.
Adam Luckhurst curved a free kick into the top right corner of the net to start the scoring for Bishop. He added his second goal just before halftime to make it 2-0.
Michael Luckhurst scored two quick goal in the second half to seal the win.
