With a roster beefed up with the addition of football players, the Cardinals defeated Fillmore 28-26, 25-14, 19-25, 25-15 on Wednesday.
Rylan Bohnett led the newcomers with six kills, two aces and four digs.
“Every available player on our roster got playing time, and that will serve us well going forward,” said Bishop coach Dillan Bennett.
The Cardinals improve to 6-1 overall. They are 1-0 in the Tri-Valley League and play at Laguna Blanca on Friday.
