The Santa Ynez girls raised their overall record to 12-1 with a 9-0 win over Righetti Tuesday.

“The girls played well today against Righetti,” Santa Ynez coach Jennifer Rasmussen said. “They swept singles and doubles but had some great, competitive games.”

Dos Pueblos 16, Rio Mesa 2

The Dos Pueblos girls swept in singles and won the doubles 7-2 for a 16-2 Channel League win over Rio Mesa Tuesday.

Singles players Ellie Triplett, Mel Mayo and Isla Herrera went a combined 8-0, and the doubles team of Romy Greenwald and Sophia fenkner went 3-0.

The Chargers are now 4-1 in league and 5-1 overall.

“I’m proud of how we competed today,” Dos Pueblos coach Rob Schiff said. “We are coming along well as a team and I can see the potential there. We just need to keep improving and working hard to reach our goals.”
