Senior Elliot Redkey scored 14 points to lead Bishop Diego to a 54-29 Frontier League win over Providence on Senior Night Thursday.
Sophomore Clara McDonald added nine points for the Cardinals. Seniors Sophie Benoit and Veronica Arreola added six and four points, respectively.
We got good balanced scoring tonight,” Bishop coach Jeff Burich said. “Elliot did a great job setting tempo and pushing the ball in transition. She made nice passes that gave us advantageous scoring opportunities.
“We had great contributions from seniors Sophie Benoit (6 points) and Veronica Arreola (4 points).”
The Cardinals, 4-1 overall, play at Valley Christian Academy on Friday.
