Allie Fryklund finished a torrid week for San Marcos, pitching a one-hit 7-0 shutout over Cabrillo in a Channel League game at home Friday.
Fryklund struck out 14 batters, bringing her total to 47 KOs in three games this week. She gave up zero earned runs in two wins over Cabrillo and one against Santa Ynez.
Fryklund also helped herself at the plate Friday, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Gigi Gritt was 3-for-3 with two runs scored, and Tiana Monaghan was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Izabella went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.
The Royals are now 13-4 overall and 10-1 in league play. They play at Lompoc on Wednesday.
