San Marcos split a doubleheader at the Anaheim Lions Baseball Tournament on Tuesday, losing to Oregon’s Lakeridge, 8-1, in the opening and beating Anaheim High, 9-4, in the nightcap. 

Landon Johnson drove in the Royals’ lone run in the opener. The team had five hits.

San Marcos hammered 13 hits against Anaheim to support the pitching of Brody Sturm and Holden Bougie. Strum went five innings, struck six and allowed four earned runs,

Jaxx Satterfield paced the offense with two hits and three RBIs. Lance Anderson drove in two runs on two hits and the freshman Johnson had three hits, including a double. Dayne Dreste collected a pair of hits and had a RBI and Steven Bradley doubled and drove in two runs.
