Dos Pueblos senior Avery Ball scored seven goals in a 19-8 Channel League girls lacrosse win over Thacher at home Tuesday — and surpassed 200 goals in her high school career.
Reagan Arnold and Mia Termond recorded hat tricks for the Chargers, and Lauren Elliott and Chloe Gotsis had two goals apiece. Elliott “also had an amazing seven assists and eight draw controls that helped us keep possession,” Dos Pueblos coach Anais Jimenez said.
Alice Sperlings, and Beth Baker contributed one goal each.
Defensively, Maddie Nees racked up 14 saves.
“As a team, we had 18 ground balls,” Jimenez said.
The Chargers remain in first place in the league, with a 2-0 record. Overall they are 4-4.
